When Terry met the late actress Angharad Rees in 2002, she told him how much she used to love to wear his shoes back in the 70s. “Alas, I no longer have any of them”, she said “We wore them till they died and then we cried”.

A pair of original vintage 70s block heel double platform, peep toe court shoes crafted in panels of turquoise, blue and silver metallic whipsnake. Liz found this particular pair in Snoopers Paradise in Brighton in 2002. She wore them on her wedding day.
This style was famously “referenced” by design house MiuMiu in 2003 and became the subject of the BBC documentary “Trouble at the Top” directed by Chester Dent, which resulted in a re-launch of the brand Terry de Havilland in 2004.
