POM ZING LOVE – Unlabelled. Custom made in London 2015

A pair of stiletto platform Leyla spring-o-lator mules crafted in canvas and hand painted by Amy Redmond. Hand clicked, closed and covered by Terry.

These are the last pair of shoes that Terry made. They were a gift to his friend Amy of Sink the Pink on the occasion of her wedding. The shoes were made in plain canvas and sent to Amy for her to hand paint.

The shoes are deliberately unlabelled to avoid any potential Trademark infringement after the company Terry de Havilland Couture Ltd was forced into voluntary liquidation in July 2015. Terry lost the right to produce shoes in his own name when the assets of the company were bought by The Art of Sole Ltd, a company owned by Darren Spurling, from Valentine & Co who were appointed as Liquidators.

They mark the end of Terry’s career as a shoe designer, something that he never recovered from. He sadly passed away in 2019.
